Quail Run Astro Imaging Workflow
Introduction
Astrophoto image acquisition and processing is complicated! I suppose that's one of the reasons that some of us find it so compelling - it's a complex technical challenge that can produce deeply satisfying scientific and artistic results. However, I find that I now need to keep lots of little handwritten notes to help me remember all of the steps in my workflow. As I continually tweak the process, and add margin notes to the handwritten notes, it gets harder and harder to keep everything straight. Therefore, I'm going to use this webpage to document my entire workflow in some detail, with the hope that it will make things a bit easier for me, and maybe someone else as well.
